University of Tennessee Health Science Center

AdvanTech, Inc. (ATI) is pleased to submit this response to your RFP for an Inventory Management Software for the General Stores and College of Dentistry of The University of Tennessee (UT).

Our personnel have extensive experience in Supply Chain Management within the Government: DoD, DLA, Emergency Preparedness, FEMA, VA, CDC and individual Service Branches. We also have experience outside Government within the healthcare, apparel, firearms and personal protective equipment industries. Our mission statement focuses on: Accuracy, Visibility and Accountability. We have been actively involved in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Total Asset Visibility, and Inventory Level Analysis within the Government and Commercial Industries since 1996.

Our experience was leveraged and expanded during ATI’s 15 year participation in the Defense Logistics Agencies (DLA) Supply Chain R&D Program, which was responsible for $70 million savings. ATI’s role in the R&D initiatives included data gathering and warehousing; determining objectives; defining credible performance measurements; establishing baselines for each measurement; and then graphically tracking trends against those baselines.

ATI has used its AVA™ Manager Suite (including AVA Item Manager recommended here, along with optional AVA Asset Manager with Real-Time Location and AVA RFID Tag Manager) to provide the same benefits to other clients as requested in this RFP: it reduces or eliminates manual entry; automates order entry and order retrieval/fulfillment; creates specific (and customized) reports and picking/delivery tickets; improves overall operations, enhances performance metrics (including setting, measuring, meeting and exceeding them); provides accurate counts; and communicates with stakeholders both on- and off-campus.

The documents and videos included in this page are meant to provide additional information about our technology offerings and how we can incorporate them into your current operations.

This private webpage was designed to provide UTHSC with other relevant information to support the contents within our RFP Response. There is a full PowerPoint presentation for your review by clicking on the image above. To the right are our marketing brochures for our solutions. Finally, you will find video links below showing how RFID automates the Receiving, Issuing and Physical Inventory Processes.

We would be pleased to answer any questions you might have regarding this document and look forward to an opportunity to provide our proven asset management services-related capabilities.

Sincerely,

Robert Bona, CEO / General Manager
